Happy Fall! We have loved your summer stories and the many ways and places you have been enjoying your wine. From a bag, from a bottle, in a glass, in a travel mug, in sangria, mixed with vodka or even moonshine, around campfires, at home, on your deck and at the lake.
But the not to be mentioned ‘W _ nt _ r’ and the holiday season will be here sooner than we would all prefer. Now is really the time to get your wine started so it is ready in time.
New wines for the fall/winter/holiday season.These are all Limited Release Wines and are only available in limited quantities and for a limited time.
Apres Late Harvest Riesling – Bright yellow colour with notes of ripe apricot, pear and green apple. Honeyed late harvest character balanced by brilliant acidity. Similar to an ice wine, but not as sweet.
Apres Sour Cherry Dessert Wine (Port) – Deep ruby in colour, with lovely sour cherry on the nose, and a warm lingering finish. Tart cherry flavour beautifully balances the sweetness.
Niagara Mist Harvest Candy Apple – Flavours of sweet, caramelized candy apple with hints of spice are complimented by crisp green apple, juicy pear and a twist of tart orange.
Island Mist Winter Sangria – Refreshing wine with seasonal notes of cranberry, juicy orange and fresh rosemary for a fruit wine that is perfect for cooler months. It’s always sangria season!
New Selection Limited Release (6 week, 16L) (Coming late September) Whisky Barrel Cabernet Syrah from California. This ruby coloured wine has aromas of spicy black fruit and toasted oak. Dark cherry, plum and blackberry flavours along with notes of wood spice and vanilla imparted from the whisky oak lead to a long smooth finish.
